Colonel Valerii Vyshnivskyi

Colonel Valerii Vyshnivskyi is a senior Ukrainian military officer with more than 25 years of service, having held a wide range of command and staff positions across operational, logistical, and international military cooperation domains. Throughout his career he has gained extensive experience in defence planning, capability development, and coordination with multinational partners and international organisations.

Colonel Vyshnivskyi also has combat experience gained during the Anti-Terrorist Operation, the Joint Forces Operation, and during russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

He is a graduate of the National Defence University of Ukraine, where he completed advanced professional military education at the strategic level, focusing on public administration, defence management, and national security policy.

He currently serves as Director of Programme Implementation at the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC).
