JFTC is the state-of-the-art platform for experimentation and innovation.
JFTC has capabilities, capacity and processes to support higher headquarters with warfare development, experimentation, innovation and doctrine validation requirements in both standalone events and those integrated into the existing exercises. It actively supports the implementation of the concept for Tactical Level Land Centric Computer Assisted Wargame (TLCAW) and a new NATO training environment to test and validate specified areas of interest through computer assisted analytical wargaming. In addition, JFTC is the only organisation within the Allied Command Transformation structure that has a battle laboratory.
The Centre is the home of the Coalition Warrior Interoperability Exploration, Experimentation and Examination (CWIX) Exercise, NATO’s premier annual interoperability event which gathers over 2,500 experts from 42 Alliance and Partners Nations and Agencies.
